All-in-one Liquid-Cooled ESS Container
The Unical 400V all-in-one solution integrates the PCS (Power Conversion System), EMS (Energy Management System), BMS (Battery Management System), cooling system, FSS (Fire Suppression System), AC combiner cabinet and additional auxiliary subsystems in a single container.
The high level of integration, combined with the use of high-performance 314 Ah battery cells, delivers high energy density within a compact footprint.
The system features a high-efficiency hybrid cooling design, that ensures stable and controlled operating conditions, maintaining the delta T among the cells within 3°C. The standard design in a 20-foot container facilitates transport and installation, allowing for rapid commissioning and making the solution suitable for commercial, industrial and grid-side energy storage applications.
- HYBRID COOLING SYSTEM
The system combines liquid cooling of the battery packs with air cooling for the PCS (Power Conversion System), ensuring optimal thermal control and increased overall operational stability.
- ALL-IN-ONE DESIGN
The highly integrated 3S (3 cells in Series) architecture includes cooling systems, fire protection and auxiliary subsystems, maximizing the installable capacity within a reduced volume.
- STRING-BASED SOLUTION
Each battery cluster is independently managed, allowing for precise system control and ensuring high efficiency, operational stability and reliability.
- STANDARD 20-FOOT CONTAINER
The system is supplied pre-assembled, pre-installed and factory-tested, ensuring simplified transport, rapid plug-and-play commissioning and reduced lead times.
- LIQUID-COOLED BATTERY PACK
The battery packs consist of LFP (Lithium, Iron, Phosphate) cells in a 1P48S configuration and integrate BMU (Battery Monitoring Unit), HV (High Voltage connectors, liquid cooling system and structural components. The pack architecture ensures advanced protection functions against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, insulation loss, short circuit and overheating. In continuous communication with the PCS (Power Conversion System), the system ensures safe and efficient management of charging and discharging operations.
