After the success of the Osa boiler, winner of the XXV Compasso d’oro Award ADI 2018, Unical confirms

its vocation by offering advanced and design solutions, also winning the prestigious Good

Design Award 2018 with MIMO.

MIMO is the cover designed by Unical to camouflage the outdoor unit of the air conditioner. Far from the classic

bulky wooden or metal cover elements, MIMO makes the outdoor units of the air conditioners, new or existing

less impactful without creating accessibility problems for maintenance works.

The authoritative recognition, awarded by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, is

conferred to the most innovative products of the year that have distinguished themselves for their functionality,

concept research, material used, sustainability and, of course, aesthetics.
